Born in Antwerp, Belgium. He graduated from a Royal Academy of Music in Brussels and acquired the‘premier prix’of flute, chamber music, music theory and of solfège at the age of 19, and teacher's license thereafter.He then specialized with french famous flutists, Alain Marion and Jean-Pierre Rampal and studied conducting and arrangement theory in the Tilburg Music Academy in the Netherlands.He performed as a soloist in Opera Orchestra in Belgium and several orchestras in Europe, and recorded a lot of works for national TV and radio broadcastings in Belgium and France Furthermore, while he held a post of one of judges for examinations of flutes and pedagogy at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp and at the Lemmenth Institute(Leuven), he taught flutes and chamber music. After coming to Japan, he participated in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders conducted by Philippe Herreweghe and presented a recital at a flute convention held in Fukuoka.

And he played in the main concert at the Expo Dome in the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan, under the gaze of Royal Family of Belgium.He has been also pouring his energy for coaching younger generation in a master class held in Nagano Pref., etc. and for concert activities as well.
